Team planning to get together to discuss plans for 2008 racing season later this month!
2/3/08: A note from Dave...
There hasn't been a lot of talk during the off-season on our plans for the 2008 racing season . Winter seems to be such a gloomy, negative time of the year that you hate to make any decision during that time that really doesn't represent your feelings for the rest of the year. When I get back to N.H. later this month I'll have a chance to spend time with my brothers, friends, and fellow team members to discuss everyone's feelings toward another race season. I was hoping to talk to Danny about a meeting with the new Berlin City owner but haven't been able to get through to him yet. It doesn't seem right to move forward with a new sponsor without giving Berlin City every chance to continue their long and successful relationship intact moving forward. I'm just not sure how to approach it without Danny's help and hate to contact the wrong people with no interest or appreciation of how good this partnership has been and can continue to be.
My friend Lew Boyd has mentioned something about a roast at Racing Expo this year but I don't have any details yet to share with you at this time. I do plan on attending the show along with most of my fellow team members so maybe we can see many of our friends and fans there. Some of the team will go on Friday but Billy and I will be there all day Saturday.
To mix things up a little I've decided to feature two of our team members this month mainly because you never see one without the other. I plan on gathering more in-depth info about my team to post at a later date but for now here's an "off the cuff" introduction to the members. I guess that will do it for now.
